Meet the Lads

Hi I’m Stone, and I’ve had a basketball obsession and passion since before I can remember. I currently live in Southern California and enjoy all that it has to offer. I’ve covered the draft for the past eight years, and over the past four I decided to dedicate full-time hours towards pursuing full-time work in this field. My work has included writing, podcasting, live radio, and video breakdowns, some of which was featured in USAToday, NBA .com, and ESPN radio. I’m very fortunate to have met so many helpful and informative people along the way, including my two awesome Upside Swings co-hosts, and I’m a firm believer in sharing any knowledge with others who are interested. As much as I love getting picks correct, the journey and process of why I was right or wrong in an evaluation is what’s most important to me, and something I think is always improvable with the ever-changing game of basketball. Basketball has been such a large part of my life and a knack for attention to detail and statistical analysis made evaluating talented prospects a natural niche for me to fall into. Appreciating basketball as both a display of art and the detailed aspects within it has been what defines my perspective of the sport and aided in my passion staying strong. I appreciate anyone who’s ever supported my work along the way and look forward to creating more content that is hopefully insightful for others.
